Operating System Re-Installation
SolidSpace will reinstall or upgrade any supported operating system
If the operating system type or version has changed, additional charges may apply for the new or upgraded license (such as upgrading from Windows NT to Windows 2000).

Apply Operating System Patches
Periodically operating system patches and Service packs become available for Microsoft Systems. SolidSpace will notify client of new patch availability.

SolidSpace will install system patches that are made available for Windows Operating Systems upon receiving written or verbal approval from customer. Patches on Unix based systems will be loaded only upon request by customer.

Although each patch is tested prior to installation, SolidSpace cannot guarantee patches will not harm other software and applications on the server. Customers should research the compatibility of these patches and verify that they will function properly with all third party software installed on the server before approving installation.

Operating System Troubleshooting
If the problem is with the Operating system, we will resolve the issue at no cost to you. If the problem is with the way a custom script or a non-supported third party software interacts with the Operating System we will assist with identification of the source of the problem at no charge. Labor to solve the problem caused by other software is billable at normal time and materials rates.

Operating System Repair
SolidSpace will repair any operating system problems that occur as a result of normal daily usage. Normal daily usage is defined as using the software for what is was designed (i.e. Apache for serving web content, IIS etc...).

Log File Rotation
SolidSpace will install scripts on your system to rotate, archive, and delete old log files.

Log File Alerts
Log files on the client's server will be directed to SolidSpace's syslog server. Log file entries will be filtered and tickets created automatically for critical issues. On Windows based systems, Windows' Event Logs will be filtered using 3rd party software to convert the native event log into a syslog format.

DNS Installation
SolidSpace will install or reinstall the latest version of BIND on Unix based systems or Microsoft's DNS server for NT or 2000.

DNS Configuration and Changes
SolidSpace will configure up to 10 domains on the client's server.

If the problem is with IIS we will resolve the issue at no cost to you. If the problem is the way a custom script or third party software interacts with IIS, we will try to help you identify the source of the problem so you can contact the appropriate party for further assistance.

Apache Installation
SolidSpace will install Apache on your system. By default, all Apache modules with a status of "Base" are included in the Apache configuration. If needed, Apache will be compiled and installed with support for any module supported by the Apache software.

SolidSpace cannot guarantee Apache will function properly with every module. Problems associated with modules with status other than "Base" will be resolved on a time and materials basis.

Front Page for Apache is not supported.

Apache Configuration
SolidSpace will set up your first ten domains. Additional domains will be added at our normal hourly rate. Any configuration needed for modules outside the status "Base" will be completed on a time and materials basis. Front Page for Apache is not supported.

Apache Troubleshooting
If the problem is with Apache we will resolve the issue at no cost to you. If the problem is the way a custom script such are Perl and PHP or third party software interacts with Apache, we will try to help you identify the source of the problem so you can contact the appropriate party for further assistance. Front Page for Apache is not supported.

Microsoft Terminal Services Installation
SolidSpace will install Terminal Services on the client's system. Customer must provide software license.

Microsoft Terminal Services Troubleshooting
SolidSpace will troubleshoot any reported problems with the operation of Microsoft Terminal Services software. If the problem is related to Terminal Services itself we will resolve the problem for you. If the problem is related to the way an unsupported third party application interacts with Terminal Services, we will provide you with that software vendor's technical support contact information.

FTP Software Installation
SolidSpace will install FTP on your system at no additional charge to you.

FTP Software Configuration
We will assist you in setting up your first five accounts. Additional accounts will be added at our normal hourly rate.

Telnet Installation
SolidSpace will install or reinstall Telnet on the client's system.

Telnet Configuration
We will configure Telnet software to the client's specifications; including configuring TCP Wrappers to limit access to the telent application.

SSH Installation
SolidSpace will install SSH on the client's system.

SSH Configuration
We will install SSH software to the client's specifications.
