Even though the standard packages use Linux dedicated servers, you have complete control and can choose a different operating system by building your own server.

When building your server, you can choose from the following platforms:

DEDICATED SERVER MONITORING
...included in ALL Plans
All dedicated server clients are provided with monitoring services that are limited to the monitoring of the hardware and operating system to ensure connectivity.

Clients will only receive alerts and will not be responded to by a SolidSpace Administrative Team member without a Managed Services agreement or prior consent.

In the event a threat to the SolidSpace network is generated by the client's device, the device will be disabled unless client has given prior authorization to have issues of this type resolved and billed at the SolidSpace hourly rate. Administrative time for a dedicated server without a Managed Services agreement will be billed at an hourly rate of $100 per hour, with a one (1) hour minimum. After hours administrative time will be billed at $225 per hour, with a one (1) hour minimum.


Optional Services for your Dedicated Server Hosting Plan

MANAGED SERVICES
Pricing for full managed services is on a per device basis and dedicated server clients are not required to carry managed services on all devices. Managed services include monitoring, alerts, installation, troubleshooting and more!

BACKUP SERVICES
Schedule a daily backup and never worry about losing your mission critical data again. SolidSpace offers a full backup and disaster recovery solution that includes multiple backup versions, data encryption, and offsite storage. Pricing for this service varies based on the size of your file or database system and the type of operating system you choose.

WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEM
Clients have the option to install a Windows Operating System on their server by building a dedicated server. SolidSpace will provide and maintain the licensing through Microsoft. A monthly fee applies for this service but setup is FREE to install.

DATABASE SERVICES
Clients have the option to install MySQL or Microsoft SQL on their server by building a dedicated server SolidSpace will provide and maintain the licensing through Microsoft.
